..the treehouse..

dear finn,

chelsey and i decided we need to have a playdate once a week for you and mr. locke. not only will it be good for you and locke, we thought it would be good for her and i to get outta the house and talk to someone who actually understands what we are sayin'! ;)

so today we had our first weekly playdate...we went to the treehouse down in ogden. now, i have never been there before, in fact, i had never even heard of it until two days ago when chelsey' enlightened me. apparently it has been in ogden for years, but they recently relocated to right downtown by the movie theaters and fatcats. it is a really cool place, with tons to do for little kids. it is similar to the children's museum in slc (which i have never been to either, i guess i am just assuming they are similar!). unfortunately, i think you two are a bit too little to enjoy everything they have to offer, but i know you guys will love it in just a few more months! :)

even though you are too young to understand how to do most of the stuff, i still think you had fun exploring something other than the floors in our house. ;) you were quite content to just crawl around for most of the time that we were there. there is a little "train" room, where they have three different wooden trains set up for kids to play with...you kept sticking the parts in your mouth, so i am just keeping my fingers crossed that you don't get sick. :-o.

it was a fun day, and i am already looking forward to more adventures at the treehouse in the years to come. i am so grateful you have such a great little friend already, and that he has such a great mom so we can all have fun together.
