dear finn,
when your dad was younger, nanny goat entered him in all sorts of modeling gigs. one time he even traveled to florida to participate in some sort of competition! he modeled for a few years, even into college, and made some pretty good money for just showing up and looking pretty. ;) sadly for him, his hair started falling out and his tummy started getting bigger, and that's when he stopped getting modeling jobs! LOL, just kidding. dad is still just as handsome as he's always been. :)
anyway, the other day i got a call from my dear friend, jenny hardman, asking if we'd be interested in having you model for one of the new stores coming to city creek, 77 kids by american eagle. after informing me that you'd be able to keep whatever outfit they put you in, i immediately said yes! i am a sucker for clothes, that's for sure. anyway, when i said yes, i had no idea just how adorable the clothes would be!
today is the grand opening of city creek, so all of the different news stations were reporting about the mall and the different stores, etc. well, since jenny is now a reporter for ksl 5's morning news program, she put together a fashion show, featuring some of the stores in city creek that are new to utah. we had to be at the mall by 6 am for the fashion show. oooohh eee, early! i was a little concerned that you would be super grumpy when i woke you up that early, but you were surprisingly happy. we got to the mall, and i didn't realize the fashion show was outside. :( it was a bit chilly at 6 in the morning, but you did fine. dad carried you up on the stage when it was your turn, and even though you didn't really look at the camera, you still looked awfully cute. your outfit was adorable (especially your shoes!), so it was worth getting up early just for that. :) and to top it all off, you also got a $50 gift card to 77 kids!! yeah baby, it's time to shop!
after it was over we came home and went back to bed for a few hours. :) that's just way too early for any of us to wake up. ;) how cool is it, though, that at only 11 months old you can say you have already modeled??! way cool, if i may say so myself. love ya finners!
