today we took you swimming for the first time, and boy, you loved it! i had a feeling you would...shows how in tune i am with my little man. ;) haha no, it just seems like most babies like the water, especially warm water. i think it must remind you of swimmin' around in your momma's belly for nine months! anyway, daddy got off work early today so we decided to hit up the south davic rec center with you and your cousin shaya. the weather was perfect and we had a blast!
there are two pools...well really, three, but two for us to use when we have you. there is the 'splash pad,' which is outside. it is a little kid pool, with slides, a pirate ship and other fun things that i am sure you will enjoy when you are a little older. the water is very shallow, which makes it less nerve-wracking for all the mommies. :) then inside there is a lazy river, big kid pool, little kid pool with a water playground, and a big kid slide. everything you could ask for! you sure did love the lazy river, and we loved being in there with you. cousin shaya did not like it, however, but we didn't let that stop us from goin' around it a few times! :)
