yesterday/today you celebrated your first pioneer day! it is a holiday celebrated in utah to commemorate the mormon pioneers and the long and difficult journey they took across the plains to get here to utah. we are so grateful to them for the sacrifices they made to come settle in the beautiful place in which we live.
we had a fairly uneventful pioneer day. the 24th landed on a sunday this year and we were up in bear lake. the holiday was celebrated on monday, and all we did was have a nice bbq with grandma cindy and nanny goat. nanny goat made us ribs and potatoes, it was yummy. :)
