after we finally made it to oakland, california last weekend, our trip was bound to get better after the terrible day we had the day before. i was so excited for you to meet your aunts, uncles and cousin. however, because i was still so overwhelmed and shaken up from the events of the previous day, the morning wasn't quite as good as i wold have liked.
when we arrived things were pretty hectic. aunt wendy was busy making the cake for aunt tiffany's reception. aunt tiffany and uncle kevin were busy getting ready for their wedding ceremony, which was in 2 hours from the time we got there. dad was busy being interviewed by a san francisco news station, and nanny goat was busy helping the cameraman interviewing him by holding the microphone. but even as hectic as things were, everyone stopped what they were doing to come meet you and get to know you a little.
unfortunately i didn't get any pictures of them meeting you for the first time, but i did get a few later that night and the next day. everyone thought you were just absolutely adorable (no surprise there!) and they all wished we would have been able to spend more time together. hopefully we will get to spend more time with them when they come here for tiff and kevin's utah reception.
