..dinner w/the tawzers..

dear finn,

the tawzers are in town for christmas, so we snagged our chance to hang out with them tonight and it was a blast! we ate dinner at the manderin, because jarron had never eaten there before and he loves chinese food. we ended up having to wait over an hour to get a table (yeah...on a tuesday night at 5:30, wtf?) and you were being a little stinkpot. all you wanted to do was crawl around on the dirty floor. :) then when we finally sat, you and brooklyn had just had enough i think and were ready to leave! plus, miss brooklyn wasn't feeling well because of those darn teeth you babes insist on getting (haha jk) so by the time dinner was over we all just wished we had taken it to go! ha

after dinner, we came back to our house and you and miss brooklyn exchanged gifts. she gave you an adorable hat, which i think i'll have you wear on christmas, and you gave her a "baby belle" doll. you and i went shopping for this at toys r us yesterday, and i must say, shopping for a baby girl is a bit difficult when you're a mom of a little boy! i had no idea what to get her. in the end, you and i both thought baby belle was cute, and i hope she likes it.

they stayed for a while....dad and jarron talking about cars and trucks and boy things....me and whit talkin' about girls things and you and brooklyn had fun climbing the stairs, playing with toys and tooting/pooping all night! it was such a fun night, and i am so happy we got to see them while they were here. as soon as they left, dad said, "i wish they lived closer. i could see myself hanging out with jarron a lot." that's how i always feel (except because i want to hang out with whit :) ). i sure miss her, and brooklyn, and baby charlie who is in whit's belly (or maybe it's baby troy or bentley? not sure on the gender yet!). anyhow, i am grateful for the opportunity we had to see them while they were here, and hope it's not too long until we see them again.
